At Fortis Filaments, we aim to dispatch orders promptly and offer a range of courier options to suit different budgets and needs. Please read this policy carefully to understand delivery expectations, shipping coverage, and your responsibilities when selecting a shipping method.


Shipping Options & Estimated Timeframes

Delivery timeframes vary depending on your location. While metro areas may receive parcels faster, regional or interstate deliveries (e.g., WA, NT, far north QLD) may take longer. We recommend allowing 4–11 business days for delivery across Australia.

Note: These are very conservative estimates. We aim to exceed expectations whenever possible. Also, transit times are determined by the carrier and their capacity, we usually dispatch within 24 hours of the order being placed, as long as the order was placed on Sun-Thur.


Transit Insurance & Risk

Fortis Filaments is not liable for any parcels that are lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen once they are handed over to the courier. All risk passes to the customer at the point of dispatch.

If you select a shipping method that does not include warranty, you accept full responsibility for the parcel. No refunds or replacements will be provided for parcels lost or damaged in transit without warranty.


Lost Parcels & Courier Claims

If your parcel goes missing or arrives damaged, any claims must be made directly with the courier. We can assist by providing tracking numbers and dispatch details, but we cannot guarantee claim outcomes or act on your behalf.


Authority to Leave (ATL)

Most couriers operate under Authority to Leave (ATL), meaning the parcel may be left unattended at the delivery address. If you require a signature or do not want ATL, contact us before ordering to discuss secure delivery options.


Incorrect Addresses & Return to Sender

Please ensure all shipping details are correct at checkout. Fortis Filaments is not responsible for delays or fees resulting from incorrect addresses. If a parcel is returned due to delivery failure, redelivery charges will apply.


Additional Insurance

If you would like to further insure your parcel above the current $100 warranty please send us an email and we can invoice you separately to have it insured, any amount up to the value of the goods. The insurance is not a Fortisfilaments product, but is simply an option that the couriers provide.
